Virgin Bet
scored
We publish a welcome offer only after reading its full terms on the operator's own UK page on a recorded date. We have not managed that for Virgin Bet yet, so there is no figure to quote and no link to follow — the rest of the review stands on the licence, the register and the documents we could read.

Pros
Cons
Licensee: Virgin Bet Limited, which is not the company behind Virgin Games
Virgin Bet is licensed in Great Britain to Virgin Bet Limited, UK Gambling Commission account 54310. The register entry carries three activity lines, all active: casino, real-event betting and virtual-event betting, the oldest dating from 21 May 2019. That makes the company a little over seven years old on the register when we checked it on 16 October 2026. Our register extract ties one domain, virginbet.com, and one trading name to that company.
Seven years is a middle figure on our tenure criterion: long enough for a regulatory record to exist, short of the longest-standing licensees in this catalogue, several of which have held their licences for more than a decade. The three activity lines match what the site sells, which is a sportsbook with a casino and a live casino attached to it.
Virgin Games, which we review separately, belongs to a different licensee. Its site, virgingames.com, is licensed to Gamesys Operations Limited under account 38905. Nothing on the Virgin Bet pages we captured mentions Virgin Games or links to it, and no register entry we hold puts the two domains under the same company. They share a brand name; on the register they are two operators with two account numbers.
For a player the difference is practical. An account at one is not an account at the other. A deposit limit or self-exclusion set at Virgin Bet is applied by Virgin Bet Limited, and a complaint about Virgin Bet goes to Virgin Bet Limited, not to Gamesys. If you want one exclusion that covers both, GAMSTOP is the route, since it applies to every online gambling company licensed in Great Britain.
We found no published case against Virgin Bet Limited in the Commission's enforcement feed we mirror. That mirror reaches back to March 2021, so the statement covers the last five and a half years and no further back.
Footer check: no account number on any page we captured
We searched every page we captured on 19 September 2026, in the readable text and in the underlying HTML, for a footer account number and found none. The site renders as a single-page application: navigation, bet slip and a content area. On the captures we hold, no footer block carrying the company name or licence number was rendered at all.
The pages are plainly the British version. Stakes are in pounds, the homepage calls itself "Virgin Bet UK" and says it is "Licensed and regulated by the UK Gambling Commission", the sports offer points to GamCare, and the racing and football markets are British. We saw no euro figure and no other regulator. What is missing is the one line that lets a player match the site to the register without leaving it.
That costs half the marks on ownership transparency, because the company is identified through the register rather than through the operator's own pages. A footer may well exist on a full browser session that our capture did not render. Before depositing, scroll to the bottom of virginbet.com and check that it shows account 54310.
The homepage makes two claims about itself that the missing footer bears on: that it uses "advanced encryption technology" and that it operates "with full transparency and commitment to fair play". We have no reason to doubt the first. The second would be easier to accept if the licence number were on the page making it.
Offer check: a sports welcome bet, and casino spins that are not a welcome offer
The promotions page loaded only its menu and a heading, so the offers we can report come from the banner strip on the homepage. The welcome offer there is for sport: "New Members Only. £10+ bet on sports (ex.virtuals) at 1.5 min odds, settled within 14 days." It pays £20 in free bets for the sportsbook and £10 for Bet Builder, valid for seven days, with the stake not returned. None of it can be used in the casino, so it falls outside this review and we do not score it.
Two casino promotions sat beside it, and neither is a welcome offer. One is a timed prize drop: "You must be spinning before the countdown timer reaches zero to be eligible for a drop", with free spins on Almighty Mustang Express White Bison Rapid Fire Jackpots at 10p each and a three-day expiry. The other asks you to opt in for up to ten free spins a day between 18 and 20 September on Zeus Lightning Riches II, again at 10p a spin with three days to use them. Neither banner states a wagering requirement, and we did not capture the terms behind them.
The drop promotion deserves one caution. It rewards being mid-spin at the moment a timer runs out, a mechanic designed to keep play going through the countdown. That is not a hidden term, but it is a reason to decide on a stopping point before the timer starts rather than while it is running.
The live casino page adds a weekend cashback on "Selected Tables only", running "from 01:01 Fri - 00:59 Mon" and "awarded by 17:00 Monday". The rate, any cap and the list of tables are not in the banner, so we cannot say what it is worth.
For scoring, the answer is simple. No casino welcome offer with terms was visible, so all four bonus criteria are unassessed. A new customer looking for a casino bonus will not find one on the pages we read; the welcome money on offer is sports free bets. If a casino offer appears later, put its multiplier through our wagering calculator before accepting it.
Live casino: 136 titles in the lobby, visible without an account
The live lobby is where Virgin Bet publishes most of its detail, and it can be read without logging in. It is organised into Game Shows, Live Roulette, Live Blackjack, First Person, Live Baccarat and Dice & Poker, with filters for four studios: Evolution, Pragmatic Live, On Air and Playtech. The section headers carry counts: 40 game shows, 41 roulette, 25 blackjack, 30 baccarat and 18 dice and poker titles.
Those sections overlap, so we counted distinct table names instead. Leaving out the 18 First Person titles, which the lobby files on a tab of their own, and the tiles that only open another lobby, the page names 136 distinct live titles, comfortably above the 30 tables our rubric asks for full marks on live dealer.
The roulette section is the deepest. Beside Lightning Roulette, XXXtreme Lightning Roulette, Immersive Roulette and Speed Roulette it lists American Roulette Live, Double Ball Roulette from £0.20 to £500, Amstel Roulette from £1, and three On Air tables named Roulette OnAir, Auto Roulette OnAir and Speed Roulette OnAir. Game shows run from Crazy Time and Monopoly Big Baller to Funky Time, Ice Fishing and Stock Market, and the Dice & Poker tab adds Craps Live, Three Card Poker, Ultimate Texas Hold Em, Fan Tan and Super Sic Bo. For a site that leads with football, it is a broad live product.
Six tables are labelled Virgin Bet exclusives: Virgin Bet Roulette and Virgin Bet Lounge Roulette, both from £0.10 to £2,000; Virgin Bet Blackjack 1 and 2, each from £5 to £1,000; Virgin Bet Pro Blackjack, from £10 to £1,000; and Virgin Bet Free Bet Blackjack, from £5. The blackjack tiles show seat counts such as "1 / 7", and one table was marked "7 / 7 - FULL" when we captured it, a reminder that seated blackjack can mean a wait.
Stake ranges are printed on most tiles and vary widely. Buffalo Blitz Live Slots runs from £0.40 to £4, and Crazy Coin Flip and Balloon Race stop at £5, while Color Game Bonanza allows up to £12,000 and Big Small Baccarat up to £10,000. Seeing the range before opening a table is useful, because a £5 minimum changes how long a small balance lasts.
Games beyond the live tables: a slots lobby we could only partly read
The slots page rendered its menu and a handful of collections, not the whole lobby. Its categories are For You, New Games, Slots, Jackpots, Megaways, Table Games, Other Games, Slingo, Drops & Wins, Spin Gifts and a Daily Free Game, plus an A-Z list. The collections visible were themed rows: Hot Slots, Top of the Slots, Hidden Gems, Home of the Phoenix, Catch Of The Day, Egyptian Treasures, Empires And Legends and a "Play'n GO Games" row of five.
Play'n GO is therefore the only slot studio named on the captured slots page, and that is why the library criterion is unassessed rather than scored: one named studio says more about how much of the page loaded than about the lobby itself. We saw no total game count. Jackpot figures appeared in pounds, from £4,106.96 to £35,565.38, without saying which games or pools they belong to.
The featured game when we looked, Hot Slot: 777 Cash Out, came with a paragraph describing its 15-position grid and a Grand Jackpot for filling it, but no return-to-player figure. No RTP figure or policy appeared on anything we captured, which scores zero on transparency. We did not try demo play.
The homepage also promotes a daily free game, described as "Play for fun and you might just win real prizes", and the menu lists a feature called Virgin Bet FIVES that none of the pages we read explains.
Banking and verification: three help addresses that returned the homepage
We requested three addresses that normally hold a site's payment and identity rules: /banking, /help/withdrawals and /help/verification. Each answered with a normal status code, and each delivered the same thing, the sportsbook homepage with live scores and price boosts and no word about payments. A capture of the wrong page is not a source, so we have no list of payment methods, no minimum deposit or withdrawal, no fee statement, no processing window and no document list.
The homepage itself says only: "When you’re ready to withdraw your earnings, choose your preferred method for a secure and hassle-free withdrawal process." It names no method. We do not fill that silence with the methods British sites usually offer. All four payout criteria remain unassessed, and measured withdrawal time would stay unassessed in any case until we have withdrawn our own money.
Three questions are worth asking support before you deposit: which methods accept withdrawals; whether a withdrawal sits pending before processing begins, bearing in mind that a pending period is money still in your account rather than a payout time; and which documents Virgin Bet asks for, and at what point. Sending identity documents on the first day removes the most common cause of a slow first withdrawal.
Support: no channel or hours on the pages we read
We could not find a single support route on the captured pages: no live chat link in the rendered text, no e-mail address, no phone number and no statement of hours. The help addresses we tried returned the homepage, as described above. The channels and hours criterion therefore stays unassessed, as do response time and answer quality, which depend on timed contacts we have not made.
We would not read this as evidence that support is missing. A betting site built this way often opens its help centre and chat from inside an account. But someone deciding where to deposit should be able to see how to reach the operator before signing up, and on the evidence we have, Virgin Bet does not show it.
Safer gambling and complaints: three tools named in one sentence
The responsible gaming page loaded its navigation and the words "Bet responsibly", and nothing more. The only description of the tools is a single sentence on the homepage: "Our platform offers tools such as deposit limits, timeouts, and self-exclusion options to help you manage your betting habits." That confirms the three tools exist, but not their periods, how increases to a limit are handled, or whether GAMSTOP is mentioned; it was not named on anything we captured.
No alternative dispute resolution body was named either, and the brand is not listed in the IBAS directory. Every British licensee must use an ADR provider, so one exists; what is missing is its name somewhere a player can find it before a dispute starts. That scores zero on the complaint route. Ask support in writing which body handles Virgin Bet complaints, and keep the reply.
We could not read enough of the operator's own pages to say whether it publishes a testing certificate, so independent testing is left unassessed rather than marked down. The gap there is in our evidence, not necessarily in the site.
Games & studios
The 5 studios Virgin Bet names on its own pages. A studio listed here means its games are in the lobby — not which of them, or at what return.
What the operator's own documents say
Every line below was read from Virgin Bet's own banking, help and terms pages on 19 September 2026, and each page was stored with a checksum so the reading can be re-checked. Nothing here is our own measurement: it is what the casino publishes about itself, which is a different and weaker kind of evidence.

Who you are actually playing with
A casino brand is not a company. Virgin Bet is operated by Virgin Bet Limited, and that company — not the brand on the homepage — is the party holding your money, answering a complaint and appearing in the regulator's records. Its oldest active UKGC licence has run since May 2019. Everything the register holds on it — licences, sites, trading names and any regulatory action — is on our Virgin Bet Limited register page.
Trading names on the same licence
Names Virgin Bet Limited has registered with the regulator. A name missing from this list is not proof of anything — operators only have to register the ones they trade under — but a name that is here can be tied to this licence.
Regulatory action on record
No published Gambling Commission enforcement case is tied to the company behind Virgin Bet in the feed we mirror. That is a clean record in the regulator's own published cases — it is not a statement that nothing has ever gone wrong, and it does not cover complaints settled privately or matters still open.

Real money deposited · Withdrawal timed end to end · When documents were demanded · Bonus terms read in full · Library counted in the lobby · RTP compared to the provider default · Live chat timed, three contacts · Twenty minutes on a real handset. None of these has been run at Virgin Bet, nothing on this page claims otherwise, and the points they feed leave the total rather than scoring zero. What each one involves, and what it would produce, is in the protocol.

Virgin Bet is a sportsbook first, licensed to Virgin Bet Limited since May 2019, with no published case in the enforcement feed we mirror and no company link to Virgin Games, which is licensed to Gamesys. Its live casino is the strongest part of what we could read: 136 distinct titles from four studios, visible without an account, with stakes printed on each tile. Almost everything else is absent from our captures, including the footer account number, payment rules, support routes, a casino welcome offer and a complaints body, so most of our method is unassessed.
