In money terms the offer gives the qualifying stake a second pass through a single slot, Big Bass Splash, and what that second pass wins is not paid as cash. It goes to a Bonus Balance and "must be wagered x10" before it can be withdrawn, with 30 days allowed for it.

The text at the foot of Unibet's bonus page describes something wider than that. It says the welcome offer gives new players "extra funds to explore a wide range of casino games, including slots, live tables, and card games", in the form of a bonus "that can be used across most of our casino and live casino titles". The rules of the offer say the opposite. The funds "can be only used and wagered on casino slots", and using them on live casino, table games, sportsbook or racing is prohibited on pain of cancelled winnings, exclusion from future promotions or closure of the account. The rules do not agree with themselves either: a contribution table lower down still lists table games at 10%, beside slot games at 100%.

Time is stated just as loosely. The promotion "must be opted in at registration", and the £30 has to be deposited and played within 7 days of registering. After that the spins are given 3 different lifetimes in the same rules: the first line allows 48 hours from the claim, the line below it 30 days, and a third, further down, 7 days. Nothing says which of them applies; the summary printed beside the offer uses 48 hours. If the spins are not credited automatically, the rules allow up to 72 hours for them to arrive.

There are 3 ways to lose the offer without noticing. The summary says debit card or instant bank transfer only; the rules add that a deposit by credit card, Apple Pay, PayPal, a Paysafe card, Skrill or Neteller does not qualify, and they make no exception for a debit card paid through Apple Pay. A request to withdraw the cash balance before the 10x is complete cancels the bonus funds. And the summary's words "max stake applies" are not explained in the offer's rules at all; the only stake limits on the page are in the general promotional terms beneath them: a slot spin above £15 on bonus funds, or any game round above 30% of the "initial bonus amount", is listed there as a breach that can cost the bonus and its winnings. For an offer made of spins, the terms do not say what that initial amount is.

The promotional terms under the offer name the company behind it, and the name explains why one clause reaches further than the brand. They define PGL as Platinum Gaming Limited, a company registered in Gibraltar at Sovereign Place, 117 Main Street, and list its trading names — this brand plus a second British casino and a bingo site, named in the clause quoted below. The same document states that promotions are "available once only to any registered account, which shall mean no more than one bonus per user, IP address, computer device, family, residential address, telephone number, credit or debit card and/ or e-payment account, e-mail address, and environments where computers are shared (university, fraternity, school, public library, workplace, etc.)", and that a promotion "cannot be used in conjunction with, or to qualify for, any other PGL promotional offer". The welcome offer at the group's other British casino brand runs under that same document, as a PGL promotion. On the reading the words support, a player who has taken one of them has used the single bonus their household, device or card is allowed across the group, not merely at one brand. The terms do not spell out how accounts at different trading names are matched, and that is the part a player cannot check from outside.

The breadth of that list repays a second reading, because it does not describe cheating. A library computer, a shared workplace machine, a flat where somebody else has an account, a debit card already used by a family member: each is named, and each disqualifies. The same section treats as abuse "using one type of game to build a balance (e.g. large bets on a single number at roulette) then switching to another (e.g. slots) for the purpose of meeting wagering requirements" — a clause that sits oddly beside rules which forbid roulette with bonus funds in the first place.

There is a precedence rule, and it points inward rather than outward. "In the event of any difference between these Promotion Terms and the Standard Terms, these Promotion Terms will prevail." That settles conflicts with the site's general conditions, but every contradiction described above — the spin lifetime, the spin value, the table-games weighting — is a conflict inside the promotion terms themselves, which the precedence rule cannot resolve.

One contradiction is not on the visible page at all. The bonus page carries a block of structured data, the kind search engines read to show a frequently-asked-questions panel, and inside it the answer to a question about wagering requirements states that a player "must bet 100% of your bonus earnings 50 times". The offer's own requirement is 10x. We did not see that answer rendered on the page — in our snapshot the questions appear without their answers, and the text sits in the page's JSON-LD — so it is machine-facing copy rather than something a player is likely to read. That is the point: the requirement a search engine may surface for this operator is 50 times the bonus earnings, not the 10x this offer applies.

Big Bass Splash, the single game the spins can be played on, is in our games catalogue with a return figure published by Pragmatic Play rather than by the casino: 96.71%. What Unibet does not publish for this offer is a ceiling. No cap on winnings appears in the offer's rules or in the general promotional terms, and a missing sentence is not the same as a statement that winnings are uncapped. The summary says 300 x £0.10; the full rules describe "300 Free Spins of value 0.10p", which read literally is a tenth of a penny. The summary gives the plausible reading. But with the spin value, the spin lifetime and the table-games rule each stated more than once and not the same way, what this offer costs depends on which line Unibet applies, and the terms do not say.

The general terms also price inactivity. An account unused for 12 consecutive months becomes an "Inactive Account", and if it remains one for not less than 30 days after the first notification, and after an attempt to return the balance to the last payment method, a monthly fee of £5 may be deducted, starting in the first month of inactivity and for each month it continues, until the balance reaches zero. The player can reactivate the account at any time by logging in.

A complaint is to be lodged with customer support, and the operator undertakes to reply "in any event within not more than eight (8) weeks". If it is not resolved to the player's satisfaction within that time it becomes a dispute, which can be referred free of charge to eCOGRA as the independent dispute-resolution service, and any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts, which the terms say is not the only forum open to the parties.
