NO OFFER PUBLISHED HERE

We publish a welcome offer only after reading its full terms on the operator's own UK page on a recorded date. We have not managed that for BetMGM Casino yet, so there is no figure to quote and no link to follow — the rest of the review stands on the licence, the register and the documents we could read.

Cons

✕The licensee was fined £1.32 million by the regulator in 2022 for social responsibility and anti-money laundering failures
✕The site blocks us: everything here was read from the Internet Archive because betmgm.co.uk refuses our requests outright
✕Our most recent readable capture of the casino page is 4 July 2026, so every figure on this page carries that date
✕No welcome offer is published in a form we could verify — the archived promotions page is older still and its offers have expired
✕Only 25 of our 100 criteria can be assessed, so no rating is published

The MGM name, the LeoVegas licence

BetMGM in Britain is not a separate company from the one most players think of when they hear the name. The account behind betmgm.co.uk is 39198, and the register lists it against LeoVegas Gaming PLC — the Malta-founded operator MGM bought in 2022.

The same account carries ten domains: betmgm.co.uk and leovegas.com, but also betuk.com, 21.co.uk, pinkcasino.co.uk, slotboss.co.uk, bingoloopy.com, bingogodz.com, bingos.co.uk and leovegas.co.uk. Choosing between several of those sites is not choosing between operators — it is choosing between front ends on one licence, one compliance department and one set of limits.

This matters practically. Self-exclusion, affordability checks and account closures generally apply at licensee level rather than per brand, so a player who leaves one of those sites has usually left all of them. It also means the regulatory record below is the record of the company behind every one of them, and we hold the same record against our LeoVegas review.

The £1.32 million penalty, and what it was for

On 3 August 2022 the Gambling Commission announced that LeoVegas would pay £1.32 million for social responsibility and anti-money laundering failures. It sits on our record of UKGC enforcement alongside the other twenty-three cases we mirror, where the median penalty is £950,000.

Social responsibility failures are the category that matters most to an ordinary player, because they describe what the operator did — or did not do — when someone showed signs of losing more than they could afford. Anti-money laundering failures are about source-of-funds checks, and they are the reason a large withdrawal can trigger a document request that feels sudden.

Four years on, the penalty is history rather than a live warning, and the licence has run since 2014 without a second case. We report it because a review that omits a seven-figure penalty is not a review. We do not extrapolate from it either: the regulator publishes what was wrong at the time, not what the operator is like today.

Why this page is read from an archive

betmgm.co.uk does not serve us. Requests are met with an Incapsula bot-protection page, and the casino path returns HTTP 451 — the status reserved for a refusal on legal grounds, which here means a geographic one.

So the facts on this page come from the Internet Archive: the casino page as captured on 4 July 2026, the terms page from 7 June 2026, and the promotions page from 13 April 2026. Each figure is stored with the capture that produced it, and the dates are printed rather than smoothed over.

The honest consequence is that this review is older than the others in this catalogue, and the parts that change fastest — offers, limits, payout times — are the parts we have chosen not to publish rather than publish stale. The welcome offer is the clearest example: the archived promotions page shows a Las Vegas prize draw and darts promotions that ended in May 2026. Printing those as current would be worse than printing nothing.

A bot-protection block is not evidence of anything about the operator. Most large British operators run one, and refusing traffic from outside the market is routine. It is a limit on us, and the score reflects it as our gap rather than the casino's fault.

What the archived pages do show

Sixteen studios are named on the casino page: Pragmatic Play, NetEnt, Play'n GO, Evolution, Hacksaw Gaming, Push Gaming, Playtech, Microgaming, Games Global, Red Tiger, Yggdrasil, Quickspin, Playson, Novomatic, Inspired Gaming and Eyecon. That is the deepest named supply list we have read anywhere in this catalogue, and Hacksaw and Push Gaming in particular are studios that smaller UK sites often lack.

The cashier is equally broad: PayPal, Visa and Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Trustly and bank transfer. Apple Pay and Google Pay together are still uncommon here, and Trustly matters for anyone who prefers paying straight from a bank account without a card.

GAMSTOP is named on the site, and IBAS is published as the alternative dispute resolution body. Both are what a player should look for before depositing rather than after a dispute — our GAMSTOP guide covers what the scheme does and does not cover.

Apps exist for both Android and iOS. We have not installed either, and we do not score app quality from a store listing.

Why there is no rating here

Twenty-five of our hundred criteria can be assessed from what we hold, against a threshold of forty. So this page carries no score.

The missing three quarters are the operational half of the method: withdrawal times, minimum and maximum limits, verification timing, support channels and hours, bonus terms, RTP policy. All of it sits behind pages we cannot reach from here, and none of it can be inferred from the studio list.

A rating built on a quarter of the method would say more about our access than about BetMGM, and it would rank a large, long-licensed operator below smaller sites purely because those sites let us read them. The rule that prevents that is the same one applied across this catalogue, and it is worth more than the completeness of any single page.

What the operator's own documents say

Every line below was read from BetMGM Casino's own banking, help and terms pages , and each page was stored with a checksum so the reading can be re-checked. Nothing here is our own measurement: it is what the casino publishes about itself, which is a different and weaker kind of evidence.

Who you are actually playing with

A casino brand is not a company. BetMGM Casino is operated by LeoVegas Gaming PLC, and that company — not the brand on the homepage — is the party holding your money, answering a complaint and appearing in the regulator's records. Its oldest active UKGC licence has run since November 2014. Everything the register holds on it — licences, sites, trading names and any regulatory action — is on our LeoVegas Gaming PLC register page.

Other sites run by the same company

These 9 domains are registered to LeoVegas Gaming PLC in the same register entry. This matters for three practical reasons: a self-exclusion applied by the operator normally covers all of them, your verification documents are usually recognised across them, and a “different casino” offering you a fresh welcome bonus may be the same company you already have an account with.

Sister brands we have reviewed

4 other brands in our catalogue are operated by LeoVegas Gaming PLC. Their reviews are built from the same register entry and carry the same enforcement record as this page, because a penalty lands on the company rather than on the brand name.

Regulatory action on record

The Gambling Commission publishes the action it takes against its licensees: fines, regulatory settlements and licence suspensions. Below is every published statement we can tie to the company behind BetMGM Casino, or to this site by name — not an allegation from a forum, and not our opinion, but a regulator's own record of what it found and what it cost. A fine is not automatically a reason to avoid a casino: what matters is what it was for and whether the same failure could reach your money.

Against LeoVegas Gaming PLC
WHAT THE REGULATOR FOUND · 3 Aug 2022

Gambling operator LeoVegas will pay a £1.32 million penalty for social responsibility and anti-money laundering failures.

  • setting spend triggers for Safer Gambling Team customer review significantly higher than the average customer’s spend without any explanation as to how this was appropriate
  • setting six hours as the point at which customers were made to take a 45-minute cool off period without explaining how they concluded that playing for six hours was the point at which harm would occur
  • not acting on their own policy of interacting with customers exhibiting indicators of harm including denied deposits, cancelled withdrawals, long gameplay sessions, gambling sessions occurring late at night or early in the morning
  • not sufficiently taking into account the Commission’s 2019 guidance on customer interaction.
  • financial triggers for anti-money laundering reviews being too high and unrealistic to effectively manage money laundering and terrorist financing risks
  • relying too heavily on ineffective threshold triggers and inadequate information regarding how much a customer should be allowed to spend based on their income or wealth, or any other risk factor
  • inappropriate controls allowing significant levels of gambling spend to take place within a short space of time without knowing anything about customers’ financial situations.

Quoted from the Commission's own notice — Online operator LeoVegas fined £1.32 million.

Source: the Gambling Commission's enforcement-action feed, mirrored 16 Oct 2026. Cases are tied to an operator through the licensee company named in the register, so a case may cover sister brands run by the same company; a statement that names this website under an earlier licensee is listed too, against the company it was made against. Where a statement divides a sum between several licensees, the figure here is the share of the licensee behind this site.

EDITOR'S VERDICT

The British BetMGM is LeoVegas Gaming PLC — account 39198, licensed since 2014, also trading as LeoVegas, BetUK, 21.co.uk, Pink Casino, Slot Boss and four bingo brands. That licensee was fined £1.32 million in 2022 for social responsibility and anti-money laundering failures, with no second case since. The archived pages show an unusually deep studio list and one of the widest cashiers in this catalogue. We publish no rating: the live site refuses our requests, everything here comes from captures dated between April and July 2026, and only 25 of our 100 criteria can be assessed.

BetMGM Casino FAQ

LeoVegas Gaming PLC, UKGC account 39198, with a remote casino licence running since 1 November 2014 — checked 16 October 2026. The same licence carries LeoVegas, BetUK, 21.co.uk, Pink Casino, Slot Boss and several bingo brands, so they share one compliance regime.
